About the Performers
Penelope Whitney is married to an Italian and has learned the hard way that you’ve got to salt the water before adding the pasta. She often performs at Fireside Storytelling in San Francisco and is delighted to be at Tell it on Tuesday for the first time.
Andre Le Mont Wilson has performed stories at The Moth, The Shout, Fireside, The Bay Area Storytelling Festival, and Monday Night Marsh. Over the last few years Andre has been published in the online disability literary journal Wordgathering and the Marin Poetry Center Press’s Changing Harm to Harmony.
Karin Werner began a life long love affair with stories when she received her first library card in Cody, Wyoming. Many library cards later, she reaches back into myth and memory to create her personal style. Karin serves as Board Chair for the Storytelling Association of California.
Michael O’Brien is a San Francisco-based improviser, actor, writer, original member of the National Theatre of the Deranged and co-creator of “Tips on Travel with Karl and Carl.” Michael’s credits include solo and ensemble performances at the Marsh, the Throckmorton Theatre and the Holy City Zoo.
Bridget Frederick is getting ready for the Rogue Festival in Fresno. Evolution of Anger has been spinning its way through her head over the last year, and may continue to spin for some time to come. Bridget is the co-producer of Tell it on Tuesday, and she teaches yoga full time in the East Bay. Website: bridget-yoga.com
Eric Smith is a musician, producer and recording artist with Edgetone Records and has worked with Brian Eno, Madonna, Warren Zevon, Mickey Hart among others. Website: edoctorsmith.com.
